At least 13 people have been injured on a Brooklyn subway at the 36th Street station in Sunset Park.
New York officials reporting ‘undetonated devices’ were found near or on the scene. The type of detonation device is unknown, Law Enforcement has not named suspects or motives, at this time.
Five of the injuries are allegedly due to gunshot wounds, the cause of injuries for the remaining victims is undetermined at this time. This will be the first major incident that Mayor Eric Adams faces as details emerge and emergency personnel manage and secure the scene.
According to NBC, the suspect was allegedly wearing a gas mask and tossing smoke grenades during the incident.
