Bryan Kohberger | Motion to Seal Grand Jury Witnesses, Redacted Indictment, and Court Order Related to Courtroom Cameras

A secret Grand Jury convened to indict Bryan Kohberger, superseding his original charges that were scheduled to be argued at a preliminary hearing on June 26.

“The representatives of the media serving as the pooled camera staff shall be seated in an area approved by the Court…”

The judge also set limits for a maximum of (2) media members operating audio/video and (1) media member handling still photography

Due to the new indictment, the preliminary hearing has been canceled and Kohberger will face a judge this coming Monday (May 22).

Latah County Clerks’ office released the full redacted indictment which can be found via the links below. The documents also reveal motions in place to seal grand jury witnesses and orders from a judge allowing cameras in the courtroom for Kohberger’s arraignment on Monday.

Judge Marshall has denied the Associated Press’s motion to reconsider the scheduling conference for the gag order. The scheduling conference remains in place and will take place right after Kohberger’s arraignment on Monday.
